Grow a Garden 2 Pets, Eggs & Seed Packs

TL;DR

There are 13 pets in Grow a Garden 2, each with its own passive ability, hatched from 3 eggs. Every pet is non-stealable — GAG2 stealing targets your crops, not your pets. Want the short version? The Deer (faster growth), Unicorn (double Rainbow chance) and Golden Dragonfly (double Gold chance) are the value picks; the Raccoon is the one that actually helps you steal. Full list, egg pools (#eggs) and seed pack odds (#seed-packs) below.

Eggs

Pets come out of eggs, and rarer eggs tilt the odds toward rarer pets. There are 3 eggs: the Common Egg rolls the widest pool (everything from a 30% Bunny down to a 0.2% Raccoon), the Epic Egg is the fast lane to a Deer/Unicorn and the only source of the Mythic Bee (Big) at 1%, and the Common Pet Egg is an upcoming Robux egg whose pool isn't published yet. Each egg's full hatch pool is listed below.

Seed Packs

Seed packs are Robux bundles that roll a random seed by rarity tier — different from eggs, which give pets. There are 6 packs. Most are still pre-release, but the Ghost Pepper Pack is the one live pack with published per-seed odds: Baby Cactus 50%, Horned Melon 30%, Glow Mushroom 15%, Poison Ivy 4%, and the rare Ghost Pepper Seed at 1%. The others (Common, Premium, Starter, Rare, Legendary) show tier odds where known and "unknown" where the data isn't out yet — never a made-up number.

Pets FAQ

What is the best pet in Grow a Garden 2?

It depends on your goal. For raw value, the Deer (plants grow 10% faster), Unicorn (doubles Rainbow chance) and Golden Dragonfly (doubles Gold chance) push your garden's output the most. For defense, the Bee swarms intruders. If you steal, the Raccoon raises your steal limit by +25 and grabs fruit from empty gardens at night. There's no single best — match the passive to how you play.

How many mutations can one pet have?

Pets in GAG2 don't carry mutations — mutations apply to plants and fruit (Rainbow, Gold and similar). Pets like the Unicorn and Golden Dragonfly instead boost the chance your crops mutate. See the Mutations page for how those rolls work.

What pet comes from each egg?

The Common Egg can hatch Frog, Bunny, Deer, Robin, Bee, Unicorn, Golden Dragonfly or Raccoon. The Epic Egg hatches Deer, Unicorn, Bee or the Mythic Bee (Big). The Common Pet Egg pool isn't published yet. Exact odds for each are in the Eggs section above.

How do I hatch a pet?

Get an egg, place it, and it hatches into one of the pets in that egg's pool based on the listed odds. Rarer pets are rarer rolls — for example the Raccoon is only a 0.2% pull from the Common Egg. Use the Calculator to estimate how many eggs you'd need.
